DOMINY NAMED PRESIDENT OF PRG REAL ESTATE MANAGEMENT, INC.
PRG Real Estate Management Inc. is pleased
to announce that it has promoted Robert M. Dominy to become
President of the firm. Mr. Dominy initially joined PRG
in July, 1998 as Sr. Vice President and immediately assumed
responsibility for property operations. In the six years
since that time, PRG has seen its equity increase by 520%,
while the company has grown from nine communities to
twenty-six, and expanded into new markets in the
Carolinas
and in
Florida
.
Mr. Dominy’s career began in 1978 with
General Investment & Development Co. in
Boston
, a company where he was employed for over 16 years.
From 1985 to 1994, he served as Northeast Regional Manager,
directing management of 4,000 units in
New England
,
New York
and
Pennsylvania
. From 1994 to 1996, he was employed by Winthrop
Financial Associates as the Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager,
where he converted a financially troubled 9,400 unit region
into the organization’s strongest financial performer.
Immediately prior to joining PRG, Mr. Dominy was employed as
chief operating officer at GDC Properties Inc. in
New York
, where he directed all property operations at a 4,500 unit
portfolio extending from
New York
to
Florida
. Mr. Dominy holds a B.A. in communications from
Evangel
University
, an MBA in marketing from
Babson
College
, and is a CPM. He also is a committee chairman on the
advisory board to
Florida
State
University
’s college of human sciences, and is PRG’s designated
representative allowing it to receive IREM’s distinguished
AMO accreditation. He further is a licensed real estate
broker in three states.
The promotion of Mr. Dominy comes at a time when PRG seeks to
aggressively expand. The company has recently created
two new regional vice president positions to oversee day to
day operations, and it is anticipated that Mr. Dominy’s
enhanced role in corporate growth will enable PRG to
consummate acquisitions at a more rapid pace.
