DOUGHERTY JR. BECOMES NEW SR VP AND CFO AT PRG
PRG Real Estate Management
Inc. is pleased to announce that Daniel J. Dougherty Jr. has
agreed to join the firm as its new Sr. V.P. and Chief
Financial Officer. Mr. Dougherty is a native
Philadelphian and is a 1989 graduate of
Villanova
University
. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1991.
Mr. Dougherty’s career
began with Price Waterhouse LLP, where he began employment as
a staff accountant in 1989. He eventually became an
audit manager prior to leaving in 1995. Since that time,
Mr. Dougherty has served as Director of Finance and Accounting
at Realen Homes, as Vice President and Corporate Controller at
Decisionone Corp., and again served in that same capacity at
Keystone Automotive Operations, Inc.
Immediately prior to
joining PRG, Mr. Dougherty served as Vice President and Chief
Accounting Officer at Infrasource, Inc. While there, he
had complete responsibility for the financial reporting,
budgeting, internal controls, insurance, tax and cash
management of an organization with $900 million in revenues.
The addition of Mr.
Dougherty to the senior PRG management team comes at a time
when the organization expects rapid expansion. It is
anticipated that his expertise will enable PRG to consummate
acquisitions previously outside its area of expertise.
Mr. Dougherty brings to PRG extensive experience due to his
background in mergers, acquisitions and restructurings.
PRG owns and manages over
5,200 units along the Eastern Seaboard, from Pennsylvania to
Florida. The company has added 13 assets to it’s portfolio
within the past four years, and now owns 22 communities
throughout the country.
